Teen Skin Care
If your child is dealing with acne and you are interested in natural solutions, consider Bindi’s “Problem Skin Care Kit.” (http://www.bindi.com/details.asp?prodid=300&cat=13&path=13)
It includes a facial mask, soothing lotion and an herbal moisturizer. The kit lasts for a long time and really helps. For acne on the shoulders and back, make your own very effective “pimple mask” by mixing ½ tsp. crushed cumin seed and 1 tsp. coriander. Add enough water to make a paste and apply paste over pimples. Leave on for 20-30 minutes, then rinse. This recipe comes from Absolute Beauty, by Pratima Raichur, who started the Bindi Skin Care Products line.
Food, Health & Common Sense
The kitchen must become as crucial as the clinic, according to Dr. Preston Maring, who started an organic farmer’s market just outside of Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. Follow the link to the full article: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/22/dining/22doctors.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1

“You’re Okay.”
We need our children to have the ability to cope in tough times. Tough times can be a banged up knee, a tough day at school, or a death in the family. When they are crying, they don’t need to be told that they’re okay or to stop crying. They need you to say yes to their pain.
“It hurts!” “Yes.”
“I hate school.” It sounds like it.”
“I don’t want my cousin to be dead.” “It hurts too much, doesn’t it?”
And after you say yes to their pain, at some point, let them know that it won’t always hurt this much. It is in this way that they learn how to cope with tough times as teens and adults: Feel the pain, acknowledge it, know that it won’t always hurt this much.

BodyTalk Access for Test Scores?
G.S. of Newmarket, Ontario shared the following:
I told you about my girlfriend taking the CDI course and how she was ready to throw in the towel as she really didn’t think she could remember everything she had to remember for the exams she had to write. Her first exams were 68% and 64% and she was facing the hardest exam yet. I said I always feel more alert when I do the Access Techniques – why not give it a try. For a week before the next exam we did Access every day and she was thrilled to find when she was studying that somehow she was retaining all the information that she needed to, and when she got her exam back she had 91% WOW. Diana got back the second exam she has written since starting Access and this time she got 96%. Diana is thrilled and you must understand that the girls in her class that were doing much better than her in the first two exams are both between 20 and 30% lower than her now. Diana says she will never write another exam without Access. Just thought I would share this with you.
Focus on Geranium Essential Oil
Geranium Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil has been used for centuries for skin care. It is antitumoral, anti-inflammatory, dilates bile ducts for liver detoxification and it also may help ease stress and nervous tension.
*Combine Geranium with an equal amount of Lavender. Rub on skin to prevent mites and ticks. Gentle enough for pets, for mange.
*Has been used effectively on residual pain from shingles after the visible outbreak has cleared.
*Taken internally in combination with Lemon, Juniper and Orange to reduce Edema.
*Geranium balances the sebum, which keeps the skin supple.
*Recommended by Jean Valnet, MD for liver disorders and hepatitis.
*Add one drop Geranium oil to your facial moisturizer to bring out a glow to your skin.

Chi Machine October Special: $370 + Free Shipping
I love my Chi Machine! Let me know if you’d like to try one for yourself to see how much better you can feel. Here’s what Cecile P., who was introduced to the Chi Machine in February, 2007 has to say:
“I was very skeptical at first and not at all prepared to invest money in buying these devices. At this time, I suffered from arthritis in my back and hips. I also suffered from severe knee pain and I was so weak that I was considering buying a wheelchair. But after only four sessions of two minutes twice a day on the Chi Machine, I gained back energy in my legs and after 5 days I did not need help getting up in the bath. My first though was “I cannot afford to live without the Chi Machine.” I immediately bought a Chi Machine and now I use all devices in the multi-energy concept of HTE once or twice a day every day.
“Gradually all the pain in my body has disappeared completely. My health has greatly improved. Blood pressure returned to normal. The leg cramps and pain from arthritis in my back and hips have completely disappeared and the knee pain as well.”
Cheap & Green Conditioner
Talk about simple!
Conditioner
~Once or twice a week, massage coconut oil, olive oil or sesame oil onto scalp. Add essential oil of your choice if desired. Wrap head in hot towel and allow to sit for 10 minutes, then wash as usual. Those with oily scalp should dry-brush hair 50 strokes from roots to end to spread natural oils instead of applying oil.
Something to think about:
Hold these two thoughts in your mind at once. "I am perfect exactly as I am" and "I am evolving into the next version of myself even now."
